SEAGULL 1963 | Bronze Lume 38mm
All products are custom-built and not affiliated with any official brands. We do not sell counterfeit or replica products.
The case is 38mm of brushed bronze, and it will not stay this colour. Air and skin darken it a little at a time, more where the cuff rubs, so after a year no two look alike. That is the point of bronze. Around it is the Seagull 1963 dial, cream with a grained surface. White counters at 3 and 9. A gold star with a red centre under 12, and 21 ZUAN beneath it, which is the jewel count.
This is the Lume version. In the dark the blued hour and minute hands glow green, and so does a ring of dots outside the numerals, one at each hour. The numerals themselves stay dark. The chronograph hand is red.
Inside is the Seagull ST1901, a hand-wound column-wheel chronograph. 21,600 beats an hour, about 42 hours from a full wind. This one has the blue swan neck regulator, visible through the display back, which sits in a steel ring engraved BRONZE EDITION and REDSTAR 1963. No rotor, so you wind it. A turn of the crown each morning does it. One pusher starts and stops the chronograph, the other sends the hand back to zero.
Factory-original Seagull, sold as it comes from Tianjin Sea-Gull. We do not open it or change anything. The front crystal is a boxed sapphire that stands proud of the bezel. It ships on an 18mm two-piece beige nylon strap with a red stripe down the middle and a bronze-tone star buckle. Delivery is 2 to 4 weeks.

Common questions
Is this a mod like the rest of the site?
No. Every other watch here is built by us around a Seiko movement. This one arrives finished from Tianjin Sea-Gull and goes out the same way, in its own box with its own papers.
Will the bronze go dark?
Yes, and unevenly. Bronze reacts to air and to your skin, so the case turns browner over months and the pattern depends on how you wear it. The steel caseback ring and the sapphire do not change.
How often do I have to wind it?
Once a day is the habit. Turn the crown clockwise until it stops. A full wind runs about 42 hours, so if it sits in a drawer for two days it will have stopped, and you set the time and wind it before putting it on.
Can it get wet?
Rain and hand-washing, yes. Swimming and showers, no. The rating is 3 ATM and the crown pulls out rather than screwing down, so keep it pushed in.
Estimated delivery is 2–4 weeks from order confirmation. Each watch is built, inspected, and securely packed before dispatch. Tracking is shared once your order ships.
Returns are accepted for manufacturing defects, functional faults, or if the delivered watch is materially different from what was promised. A clear, continuous unboxing video showing the sealed package, shipping label, and issue is required to assess the claim.
