SEAGULL 1963 | Blue Panda 42mm
All products are custom-built and not affiliated with any official brands. We do not sell counterfeit or replica products.
The name says panda and the dial does the opposite. A real panda dial is light with dark counters. This one is deep blue with cream counters, which the trade calls a reverse panda, and the contrast lands the same way. Blue sunburst that darkens towards the rim, two cream registers with fine ring texture at 3 and 9, polished numerals and wedges applied on top.
Polished steel hands, blued hands in the counters, and the red star with 21 ZUAN under 12. Nothing glows. This is a daylight watch.
The case is 42mm of polished 316L steel, 48mm lug to lug, 22mm at the lugs, with a boxed sapphire that carries a faint blue tint when the light catches it. Through the glass back you get the hand-wound Seagull ST1901: 21 jewels, 21,600 beats an hour, about 42 hours of running, swan neck regulator on the balance. The caseback ring is engraved with stars, a 2013 anniversary line and a number.
Factory-original Seagull 1963, sold as it comes, on a 22mm navy nylon strap with two grey stripes and polished steel hardware. Wind it each morning. Top pusher to start and stop, bottom pusher to zero. Delivery is 2 to 4 weeks.

Common questions
Are the subdials black, like the old listing said?
No. They are cream. Every photograph on this page shows cream counters against the blue dial, and the description that claimed black was wrong.
Is the number on the caseback an edition number?
The ring carries stars, a 2013 anniversary line and a number, but the maker never publishes a run size, so we sell this as a standard model rather than a numbered edition.
Is this a mod?
No, it is not a mod. The rest of what we sell is assembled here in India on Seiko movements. The 1963 arrives from Sea-Gull finished, and we pass it on that way.
Will the blue dial look navy or bright?
Both, depending on the light. It is a sunburst, so the centre lifts under direct light and the edge stays close to navy. The crystal's blue tint adds a little of its own.
Estimated delivery is 2–4 weeks from order confirmation. Each watch is built, inspected, and securely packed before dispatch. Tracking is shared once your order ships.
Returns are accepted for manufacturing defects, functional faults, or if the delivered watch is materially different from what was promised. A clear, continuous unboxing video showing the sealed package, shipping label, and issue is required to assess the claim.
