All products are custom-built and not affiliated with any official brands. We do not sell counterfeit or replica products.

The Seagull 1963 in its 38mm case, cream dial, with the glass left to you: domed acrylic or boxed sapphire. The case is polished 316L steel, 47mm from lug to lug and 12.70mm deep. Gold-tone Arabic numerals with wedges between them, blued hands, a red chronograph seconds hand. Running seconds at 9, a 30-minute counter at 3. Under the red star it says 21 ZUAN, the jewel count, though the factory's render of the acrylic version reads 19 ZUAN.

It is an original Seagull, finished by Tianjin Sea-Gull and resold here exactly so. The case is never opened. Within it, the hand-wound ST1901, an ST19 descended from the Swiss Venus 175 column-wheel chronograph. It beats at 21,600 bph and runs about 42 hours on a full wind. The caseback is glass, so you can watch it. The name comes from the chronograph Tianjin made for the Chinese air force in 1962 and 1963. This cream dial is the plain re-edition, not a limited run.

Hand-wound means it only runs if you wind it. Once a day from the crown is enough. One pusher runs the timing hand and stops it, the other drops it back to zero.

Three versions are sold here: acrylic with the blue swan neck regulator, sapphire without it, or sapphire with it. Each comes on an olive green nylon NATO with a polished steel pin buckle, boxed in a foam-lined tin. Delivery is 2 to 4 weeks.

Common questions

Is this a mod like the rest of your watches?
No. The other watches here are our own builds on Seiko movements. This one is a complete watch from Tianjin Sea-Gull. We sell it as it arrives and never open the case.

Do I really have to wind it every day?
Yes, or close to it. A full wind gives about 42 hours, so winding it while you put it on in the morning is enough. Turn the crown until you feel it stop.

Acrylic or sapphire, which glass should I pick?
Acrylic is domed and softer. It picks up fine scratches over the years and they polish out. Sapphire is boxed, a raised shape with curved sides, and stays clear in normal wear. If you will wear it every day, take sapphire.

What does the swan neck option change?
Only the regulator. The swan neck version has a curved blue spring on the balance cock that lets a watchmaker set the rate in finer steps. You can see it through the caseback. The rest of the movement is the same.

Estimated delivery is 2–4 weeks from order confirmation. Each watch is built, inspected, and securely packed before dispatch. Tracking is shared once your order ships.

Returns are accepted for manufacturing defects, functional faults, or if the delivered watch is materially different from what was promised. A clear, continuous unboxing video showing the sealed package, shipping label, and issue is required to assess the claim.
