SEAGULL 1963 | Legacy Burgundy Moonphase 40mm (Limited Edition)
All products are custom-built and not affiliated with any official brands. We do not sell counterfeit or replica products.
The dial is burgundy, sunburst and slightly convex, so the colour runs from wine to near black as you tilt it. Two counters with concentric ring texture sit at 3 and 9. At 6 there is a moonphase, a blue disc carrying a gold moon and gold stars that steps through a 29.5 day cycle. A red star sits above the word LEGACY at 12.
This is the Seagull 1963 Legacy Burgundy Edition, 1,000 pieces, each one numbered on the caseback ring. It reaches us finished and goes out the same way. Nothing here is opened, swapped or rebuilt, which is the opposite of how the rest of this site works.
Inside is the Seagull ST1908, hand-wound, 21 jewels, 21,600 beats an hour, about 42 hours from a full wind. Press a pusher and you can watch the column wheel turn through the sapphire back. There is no rotor, so the crown gets a wind every morning. The upper pusher runs the chronograph, the lower one clears it. A recessed corrector on the left flank moves the moon.
Polished 316L steel, 40mm across and 46mm lug to lug, under a boxed sapphire that stands above the bezel. It ships on a 20mm wine-red leather strap with the presentation box, the manual and the Collector's Archive book. Delivery is 2 to 4 weeks.

Common questions
Is this built here like your other watches?
No, and it is not a mod. Everything else on this site is assembled here in India around a Seiko movement. The Legacy is made to its own specification around a genuine Seagull ST1908 and arrives sealed in the maker's box.
What does the moonphase do?
The disc under the window at 6 turns one step a day, so the shape you see follows the real moon over a 29.5 day cycle. If the watch stops, the moon stops with it. The recessed corrector on the left of the case puts it back.
Which number will I get?
Each caseback ring is engraved with its own number out of 1,000. Which piece ships depends on what is in stock when your order is confirmed, so we cannot hold a particular number for you.
Can I wear it in the rain?
Yes. The rating is 5 ATM, so rain and hand-washing are fine. Swimming is not, and do not press the pushers while the watch is wet.
Estimated delivery is 2–4 weeks from order confirmation. Each watch is built, inspected, and securely packed before dispatch. Tracking is shared once your order ships.
Returns are accepted for manufacturing defects, functional faults, or if the delivered watch is materially different from what was promised. A clear, continuous unboxing video showing the sealed package, shipping label, and issue is required to assess the claim.
