Seagull 1963 Air Force Cream 42mm front packshot, cream dial, gold numerals, striped nylon strap

SEAGULL 1963 | Air Force Cream 42mm

Rs. 29,500.00

All products are custom-built and not affiliated with any official brands. We do not sell counterfeit or replica products.

Same cream dial as the smaller Seagull 1963, in the biggest case the family comes in. 42mm across, 48mm lug to lug, 22mm between the lugs, which is a wide strap by the standards of this watch and part of why it wears the way it does. If the 38mm disappears under a cuff, this one does not.

Gold-tone numerals at the even hours, gold wedges between them, blued hour, minute and counter hands, a red central chronograph hand. Running seconds at 9, timed minutes at 3. The red star and 21 ZUAN sit under 12. There is no date and nothing on this dial glows.

The back is where this version surprises you. Behind the glass sits the hand-wound ST1901 with its blued screws and gilt wheels, and the faceted steel ring around it is engraved for the air force with a 2013 fiftieth anniversary marking and an individual number. The maker publishes no edition size, so treat that number as a serial.

21 jewels, 21,600 beats an hour, about 42 hours on a full wind, with the blue swan neck regulator. Wind the crown every morning. Factory-original Seagull, sold as it arrives, on a 22mm black and olive striped nylon strap. Delivery is 2 to 4 weeks.

Common questions

Is 42mm too big for an Indian wrist?
It depends on the wrist, and lug to lug matters more than diameter. At 48mm the lugs stay short for the diameter, so it sits flatter than the numbers suggest, though the dial reads large. If you are unsure, the same dial exists here in 40mm and 38mm.

What is engraved on the back?
An air force marking with stars, a 2013 line marking fifty years of the design, and a number unique to the watch. The maker never publishes how many were made, so we do not sell it as a limited edition.

Is it a mod?
No, it is not a mod. Everything else we sell is assembled here in India on Seiko movements. This one is made by Sea-Gull, and it ships in its own box exactly as it reached us.

Can I swap the strap?
Yes, and the lugs take a 22mm strap, which is easy to find. The nylon it ships on slides out over the spring bars without tools.

Estimated delivery is 2–4 weeks from order confirmation. Each watch is built, inspected, and securely packed before dispatch. Tracking is shared once your order ships.

Returns are accepted for manufacturing defects, functional faults, or if the delivered watch is materially different from what was promised. A clear, continuous unboxing video showing the sealed package, shipping label, and issue is required to assess the claim.
